Andy Miles, born in Milan - Italy, is a London-based musician -- songwriter/singer/guitarist/producer/and visual artist flying under the mantra of “DIY or GFY.” After deciding the vineyards of Italy weren’t the right soil for rock n roll, he came to London in 2006 and founded the edgy punk-rock, loud-as-hell two-piece, The Connectors, with drummer Danny Bradshaw.

Over the following years, The Connectors fired up the underground rock n roll circuit blazing their way through live shows around the city with the ferocity and passion of those bitten dancers of the Taranta.

They played anywhere that could handle the noise from the legendary 100 Club and the O2 Academy in Islington to squatted boats on the Deptford Canal and alternative festivals around the country. They released the singles, Kinda Way, Naked, and Half Measures, the 7 inch vinyl that was recorded at the home studio of American actor, Adrian Grenier in New York City.

Having thoroughly explored the traditional “gig until a knight in a shining suit offers you a record deal” approach that most musicians accept as the norm, Miles decided that he had all he needed to steer the ship himself. In 2015, with his partner, Louretta Landon, Miles founded Limited Space Records and built himself a home studio to take full control of his music, art, and writing. His first solo release, a mere taste of what’s to come, “Constitution Hill,” credits himself for every aspect of the song.

Miles’ music is rock n roll with a poetic edge. An avid reader since childhood, words have always been very important to him, though gears really shifted when as a teenager, his best friend handed him a copy of The Best of the Doors. The music of Jim Morrison, along with Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, The Stones, The Ramones and Nirvana have continued to be a guiding force for Miles, encouraging him to live truthfully through his music, even embracing the dirt picked up along the way.

Can't remember my birth,
Won’t remember my death.
Might've been down by the shore
With a hustler called Beth.
Might've been an occurrence
Like none ever before,
There might be a little etching
On the wooden front door.

But I don't care how young I am..
No - I don't care how old you are.
What I care about is pointless,
That's why I'll be going far!

I’ll reach out when I need to,
Don’t you worry – you’ll see.
Gotta talk like you mean it
When you’re talking to me.
Did you wanna be someone
Who wants nothing to live -
Or a 5-minute madness
With nothing to give?

No, I don't care how young I am.
Oh - I don't care how old you are!
What I care about is pointless -
That's why I'll be going far!
